Help
What JCCM does, answers to the questions we are asked most, and how to reach a person when you need one.
Features
Build a week on the roster, publish it to the field, and track who actually turned up. Shift templates cover the patterns you run every week, and crews group the people who work together.
Geofenced clock-in ties every hour to a job site and a project. Overtime is flagged against your workspace thresholds, and timesheets arrive at payroll already totalled.
Crews photograph receipts on site. Approvers see the claim, the category and the project it lands against, then approve, decline, or mark it reimbursed.
A board per project, a backlog behind it, and sprints when the work needs a boundary. Tasks carry priority, due dates, subtasks and tracked time.
Labour cost is computed from real clock-ins, compared against what you scheduled. Pay periods lock so an approved timesheet cannot move after the fact.
Every screen is gated by a named grant. Give a supervisor scheduling without payroll, or a crew member their own work and nothing else.
Frequently asked questions
How do I get an account?
Most people are invited by an administrator and receive an email with a link to set their password. If your company is new to JCCM, create the workspace yourself from the sign-in screen and invite your crew from Workspace settings → Members.
I forgot my password.
Use “Forgot password?” on the sign-in screen. A reset link goes to your work email and is valid for a single use. If it does not arrive, check that the address matches the one your administrator invited.
Why can I not see a screen a colleague can?
Access is decided by your role. Each screen names the grant that unlocks it, and the sidebar only lists the areas your role can open. Ask an administrator to review your role under Workspace settings → Roles & permissions.
Does clock-in need location access?
Only where a job site has a geofence. If you decline the browser prompt, the clock still runs — the entry is recorded without a position rather than being blocked, and your supervisor sees that the location was unknown.
Can I use JCCM on my phone?
Yes. Every screen is built for a phone first, and there is a dedicated mobile app for crews who work offline and sync when they get signal.
What happens when a pay period is locked?
Hours inside a locked period are frozen: timesheets, clock entries and approved expenses in that window can no longer be edited. Locking is deliberate and reversible only by someone with payroll access.
Support
Fastest route for anything about your own access, your role, your job sites or a shift that looks wrong. They can change all of it without waiting on us.
For everything else — a bug, a screen that will not load, or a question your administrator cannot answer. Include your workspace name and what you were doing.
Report anything that looks like a security issue to security@jccm.dev. Please do not open it as a normal support ticket.
