Privacy policy
JCCM is run by JCC Management. This policy covers the JCCM web app at jccm.nyc and the JCCM mobile app. Effective 12 October 2026.
Who this applies to
JCCM is a workplace tool. Companies use it to schedule crews, record time and attendance, handle expense receipts and track project work. If your employer invited you, your employer decides how JCCM is used in your workspace and can see the work records described below. JCCM is meant for adults at work and is not directed at anyone under 18.
What we collect
Account details
Your name, work email address, password (stored only as a one-way hash), role and department, and a phone number if you or your administrator add one. Your employer may also record your pay type and hourly rate.
Work records
Your shifts, clock-in and clock-out times, hours worked, overtime, the reasons you give for clocking in late or leaving early, timesheets and approvals.
Location
The mobile app reads your device's precise location only at the moment you clock in or out, while the app is open. It never tracks you in the background.
- At clock-in, your position is checked against the job site's geofence. We store only whether you were inside it, not your coordinates.
- At clock-out, we store your coordinates and their accuracy along with whether you were inside the geofence.
- If you clock in or out away from the site, the distance from the site is recorded in your workspace's activity feed.
You can decline location access. Where a site has no geofence, or you decline, the entry is recorded without a position.
Receipt photos
Photos you choose to take with the camera or pick from your gallery when you add an expense receipt, together with the receipt details you enter (merchant, amount, category, date and notes). The app does not access any other photos.
Tasks and comments
Task updates, comments and attachments you add to projects on the web app.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the mobile app sends us a push token for your device so we can tell you about new shifts and task assignments. The token is removed when you sign out.
Google Calendar (optional)
If you connect Google Calendar on the web app, we read your calendar events (read-only) to show them alongside your schedule. You can disconnect it at any time.
How we use it
Only to run JCCM: building and publishing schedules, recording attendance, calculating hours and overtime, routing receipts and overtime for approval, sending notifications, keeping accounts secure and answering support requests.
We do not sell your information, show ads, or use advertising or analytics trackers in the app.
Who can see it
- People in your workspace, according to their role. Members can see each other's names and contact details and the workspace activity feed. Supervisors and managers see clock times and whether a clock-out was off site. Approvers see the receipts and overtime you submit. Administrators can see and edit member records.
- Service providers that help us run JCCM: Expo, which delivers push notifications (the notification text includes shift or task details); our email provider, which sends invitations, verification codes and password resets; and Google, only if you connect Google Calendar.
- Authorities, if the law requires it.
We do not share your information with anyone else.
Security
All traffic between the apps and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, the mobile app keeps its sign-in tokens in the device's secure storage, and receipt photos are served only through short-lived signed links to people allowed to see them.
How long we keep it, and deleting it
We keep your information while your account is active. Your employer may need to keep timesheets, attendance and payroll records for as long as employment and tax law require, even after you leave.
You can ask us to delete your account and the data tied to it. See how to delete your JCCM account.
Your choices
- Location, camera, photos and notifications can each be turned off in your device settings.
- You can ask us for a copy of your information, or to correct it, by emailing support@jccm.dev.
- Your workspace administrator can correct most work records directly.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell you in the app for significant changes.
